If your website page is ranking on the 1st page of Google and you decide to change the URL name you will lose your placement. We did a test on this and lost our 1st page ranking (#5 position) for “New York city SEO company“. You will see that we are not on the 1st page, check back in 2 days and our ranking should reappear.
